Jacque Mccloy

Our program is led by Jacque McCloy, a mother of 5 who has been teaching beginner skaters for over 25 years. Jacque has competed as well as coached competitive figure skating, is a former Learn to Skate director, and has a bachelor's degree in kinesiology.

She first strapped on her skates at only 4 years old and competed as a senior-level figure skater for 14 years. Jacque has been coaching figure skaters and hockey players at all levels.

Growing up with brothers who played hockey her love for the sport runs deep. More importantly, she understands the importance of proper skating and how it affects a skater's play. Jacque drills down to the science of skating, utilizing her kinesiology & exercise science bachelor's degree to explain the physics behind the move.
